Dr. Raymond Moreno Returns to Clinical Practice

Raymond Moreno, M.D. has returned to Affinity Clinic to provide outpatient care for adult diseases and disorders.   Dr. Moreno practiced with Affinity Clinic for many years with a large patient following, then retired from patient care to serve as Vice President of Medical Affairs with Tift Regional Medical Center (TRMC).  He has recently decided to transition back to clinical practice.   He will work part-time with Affinity Clinic in June and July and will begin full-time practice in August.   Board-certified in internal medicine, Dr. Moreno is now accepting adult patients seeking primary care, including the management of chronic diseases; injections for flu and pneumonia; complete physical exams; and, health and wellness education. 
Dr. Moreno earned his medical degree from the Georgia Health Sciences University in Augusta and completed an internal medicine residency at Tampa General Hospital.   Dr. Moreno is a past recipient of the Georgia Hospital Association’s “Healthcare Hero” award for his efforts in furthering migrant and Latino health and education in the region.   He continues to serve as the TRMC liaison for the Southwest Georgia Graduate Medical Education Committee, the Southwest Georgia Cancer Coalition and the Tift County Board of Health.  To make an appointment with Dr. Moreno, please call 229-391-4100.
