Affinity Welcomes Nine New Physicians

Affinity announced the arrival of nine new physicians. Specialties include gastroenterology, hospital medicine, infectious diseases, neurology, obstetrics/gynecology, pediatrics and psychiatry. Please note that Affinity Physicians for Women and Affinity Pediatrics are located at separate locations from Affinity Clinic (see below). 

Gastroenterology. Affinity Clinic welcomes gastroenterologists Richard Carter, M.D. and Riaz Gill, M.D. Dr. Carter is a graduate of the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond and completed residency and fellowship training there as well. Dr. Gill earned his medical degree from the Dow Medical College in Pakistan and completed residency training at the Medical College of Virginia in Richmond. 

Hospital Medicine. Affinity Hospital Medicine welcomes Aimel Azizi, M.D. to its team of inpatient physicians at Tift Regional Medical Center. Dr. Azizi went to medical school at St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies and completed residency training at Drexel University in Philadelphia and fellowship training at Albany Medical Center in Albany, New York. 

Infectious Diseases. Affinity Clinic now has a physician specializing in infectious diseases with Bankole Asebiomo, M.D. Dr. Asebiomo earned his medical degree from the University of Ibadan in Nigeria and completed residency training at Columbia University/Harlem Hospital in New York City. He followed with fellowship training at Georgia Regents University in Augusta. 

Neurology. Affinity Clinic welcomes new neurologist George Shokri, M.D. Dr. Shokri went to medical school at the American University of Antigua and completed residency training at Cooper University Hospital in Camden, New Jersey. 

Obstetrics/Gynecology. Affinity Clinic introduces a new OB/GYN practice called Affinity Physicians for Women with Shannon Price, M.D. Dr. Price earned her medical degree from Florida State University in Tallahassee and completed residency training at Greenville Health System in Greenville, South Carolina. Pediatrics. Affinity Pediatrics welcomes Mark Wilson, M.D. and Kimberly Works, M.D. Dr. Wilson graduated with a medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean in St. Maartin, Netherlands, Antilles. He completed residency training at Memorial Health University in Savannah. Dr. Works earned her medical degree from St. George’s University in Grenada, West Indies and completed residency training at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center/Children’s Hospital of New Jersey in Newark, NJ. Psychiatry. Affinity Clinic welcomes psychiatrist Abhinav Saxena, M.D. Dr. Saxena earned his medical degree from Mercer University in Macon and completed residency training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. Physician referrals are required.
